The City of Oakland is proud to be the host of the Ghana Trade and Investment Delegation’s trade mission to the San Francisco Bay Area. The Ghana Trade and Investment Delegation will take place on Sept 14th -16th, 2011 in Oakland, California.
The economy of Ghana has been experiencing an astonishing growth over the last years years after the discovery of oil reserve in 2007. Ghana has been listed as The World Fastest Growing Economy in 2011 with an economic growth of about 20% for the year 2011 based IMF’s tracking of GDP Growth.
Ghana has just started oil production and is now embarking on building a energy and technology infrastructure to support this new industry. Key officials from the Ghanian Government will be discussing current and future joint venture opportunities in a number of priority industries.
This will be an opportunity for San Francisco Bay Area participants to network with high ranking Ghanian officials. Participant will have access to all public conference activities. Attendees will:
